Items labeled in this manner are sold by weight at a price per pound. The price you see is the pound price. You will be charged for the actual weight of the product you receive. If you wish to order a specific number of rods, tubes, sticks or the like, enter that information in the comment box upon checkout. We will do our best to accommodate you knowing how many pounds you want (from the shopping cart) along with how many tubes/items you want from the comment box.

Mai Tai Pink

A gorgeous kiln-striking amber-purple glass, that has lots of pink and purple, and hardly any amber! Work in a variety of atmospheres for different effects, and burn off the haze. Generally this glass only strikes in the flame to a light amber - but when you kiln strike at 1050 F or higher, you get the eye-popping pinks and purples. Can be struck repeatedly to deepen the color, giving the artist a lot of control over the final shade.

Trautman Art Glass

Trautman Art Glass (TAG) makes high quality colored borosilicate and soft glass, by hand in small batches.

Trautman Art Glass is the latest venture of Paul Trautman. Paul conceived, designed and built the world’s first commercial operation to manufacture colored borosilicate rod glass in the mid-1980s. Paul Trautman's Northstar Glassworks set the standard for modern borosilicate color production, and Paul pioneering recipes for hard-to-achieve colors.

Now Paul is back perfecting his recipes for new colors and old favorites under the TAG label. An innovator and experimenter Paul is also creating soft (104 COE) colored glass completely compatible with the Moretti/Effetre Italian 104 glass lines.

TAG colored borosilicate glass includes the popular Red Elvis and other colors.  Boroscilate color is 33 COE; Anneal at 1050° Fahrenheit. Sold by the pound with a 1/4 pound minimum.
