16" Pro Hot Shot Kiln HS16G w/ TAP Pro Controller

The 16 GPRO is a features loaded, metal & fiber constructed clamshell kiln which introduces  'Cool Touch' technology; a fan system that keeps the kiln skin cool during full firings - no more than 15deg over ambient/ room temperature.

The HS-16G Glass kiln is the perfect kiln for any artist / hobbyist working with glass to add to their studio whether it is at home or at their business. The HS-16G’s size is perfect to do slumping, draping, casting and fusing! The clamshell is designed for easy front access allowing you to move your project in and out of the kiln at ease. This access also allows for you to easily access the project during firing if you want to do raking or other manipulation techniques to the glass. 

Cool Touch Technology
Hot Shot Oven & Kilns are equipped with Patent Pending Cool-Touch Technology that provide a safe external temperature to allow for safer operation and protection of its surroundings. Each oven comes with a removable high density kiln floor. This is ideal to assist with project setup or if it needs to be replaced. It is built with a high-quality steel enclosure that consists of a fan cooled external powder coated enclosure. It features a dual layer air plenum for external heat management and precise temperature control.

The TAP Pro controller
The TAP Pro controller is a state-of-the-art, programmable, full color touch screen controller. The TAP Pro can store an unlimited number of programs and can be easily programmed on screen or by using the free mobile app. All Hot Shot Pro ovens come with the Tap controller as well as built in Wi-fi for the ultimate user experience.
