These votive molds have 2 parts: one piece casts the base, while the other forms the glass panels for the finished pieces' sides. Creating a votive casing can be as simple as cutting two panels of beautiful art glass, or the panels can be constructed by combining sheet glass, frit balls, stringers, rods, noodles, and frit-cast embellishments.
