Expand your knowledge of kilnformed
glass in this workshop that will focus on texture and glass
two-day class is designed for beginners or for anyone who would like to
their fusing skills.
In-class projects will include
texture tiles, handmade fiber-paper relief tiles, and textured glass
accentuated with frit and mica powders.
Introduction to Glass Fusing
Dates: Sunday/Monday March 25th - 26th
This workshop will cover the fundamentals of fusing,
glass compatibility, firing schedules, kiln and mold preparation and
safety. Students will
create multiple fused projects as well
as a slumped project.
